MARGOLIES ANNOUNCES NEXT FILM, 2BR/1BA

Fans of director Rob Margolies, best know him for his 2008 indie feature film debut Lifelines, and are awaiting his current film She Wants Me which releases later this month. But PPLA is excited to announce his next project 2BR/1BA starring Alexa Vega (Spy Kids), which the film's producer Tenille Houston exclusively confirmed to us!

Last night I got to bask in the company of some of the finest writers in the business at Beyond Words 2012. In attendance were 10 writers; Will Reiser (50/50), Alexander Payne (The Descendants), John Logan (Hugo), Annie Mumolo (Bridesmaids), Aaron Sorkin (Moneyball), Steven Zaillan (Moneyball, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), Stan Chervin (Moneyball) and Tate Taylor (The Help) with the discussion moderated by Ron Bass (Rainman).

MAN ON A LEDGE PREMIERE

What if you were suspended above the Manhattan skyline on a window ledge....well  aside from being (scared s@#tless!) you'd have the basic premise of the Summit Entertainment film Man On a Ledge. Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington) is accused of a crime he didn't commit and is willing to do whatever it takes to prove his innocence or jump to his death. PPLA attended the premiere at Grauman's Theater and spoke to the stars about conquering the film &  their fear of heights!

McLaren has opened its first show room in all of North America and we are in luck as it is here in Beverly Hills, CA. Press Pass LA was at the launch party for this event and celebrated with celebrity car enthusiasts Jay Leno and Patrick Dempsey.

Mario Lopez from NBC’s Extra hosted the Hollywood Agency’s private party in celebration of the People’s Choice Awards. The private after party took place at the popular Nokia Club in downtown Los Angeles and PPLA was on the red carpet to chat with the celebrity guests!
