TRIBECA PREMIERE-THE GIANT MECHANICAL MAN

Press Pass LA was invited to attend Press Day for The Giant Mechanical Man.This was my first time attending a Tribeca Roundtable  and I was really excited to meet first time Director Lee Kirk, as well as the cast of this charming comedic love story including Jenna Fischer. We also caught up with the cast on the red carpet of the premiere!

TRIBECA PREMIERE- CAROLINE AND JACKIE

Press Pass LA was at red carpet this weekend for the World Premiere of Caroline and Jackie starring Marguerite Moreau (Shameless), Bitsie Tulloch (Grimm), and David Giuntoli (Grimm). This film takes a look at the complexities of sisterhood.

TRIBECA PREMIERE- STRUCK BY LIGHTNING 

Chris Colfer (Glee) makes his screenwriting debut with Struck by Lightning, a satirical comedy about surviving high school. The film is directed by Brian Dannelly (Saved) and Colfer stars opposite a talented cast including Allison Janney (The Help), Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Dermot Mulroney (J. Edgar), and Sarah Highland (Modern Family). PPLA attended the world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

TRIBECA PREMIERE- YOUR SISTER'S SISTER

PPLA hit the red carpet for the World Premiere of Your Sister's Sister which opens nationwide this June. The film stars Emily Blunt, Mark Duplass, and Rosemarie DeWitt. One thing is clear, Blunt is clearly the belle of the Tribeca ball having opened the festival with The Five Year Engagement and now making headlines with her turn in this film about three damaged souls who find solace in each other.

TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL- BRANDING YOUR FILM

Everytime a film is released, there is a lot of planning that goes into making that film a box office success. We had the chance to sit in on the Tribeca Talks- Film & Brands panel  and speak with industry executives and top filmmakers including Brett Ratner, on what goes into releasing the next big hit!

LIVE READ SERIES ENDS BIG

Last night I attended my first ever, Live Read at LACMA, for The Big Lebowski, the final installment in a series of screenplays being directed on stage by Jason Reitman. Although this was the final read of the season, Reitman assured all of the audience that he will be back this October to do it again!

THE HUNGER GAMES PREMIERE

One of the most anticpated movies of 2012 premiered this week, The Hunger Games. Press Pass LA was live on the red carpet to capture the best of celebrity arrivals. Check out our photo gallery and video!

TIM AND ERIC’S BILLION DOLLAR MOVIE

Last night I attended the Los Angeles Premiere for Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, but I knew that I would be in for some laughs. The cast featured some of the biggest names in comedy, including Will Farrell, John C. Reilly, Zack Galafanakis, Will Forte, and of course the film’s stars- Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim.

NIGHT OF 100 STARS OSCAR PARTY

Oscar night features an array of parties vying for celebrity attention. But, the Night of 100 Stars, now in its 22nd year has proven  to be one of the top choices for current and past Academy Awards Winners. After the red carpet, we attended the event which took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel in the Crystal Ballroom.

SPIRIT AWARDS

The Film Independent Spirit Awards celebrated its 27th year this past weekend with an awards show hosted by Seth Rogen. The Film Independent Spirit Awards take place each year right off the ocean in sunny Santa Monica, California, the day before the Academy Awards.
