DWTS: STEVIE WONDER WEEK & TEAM DANCES
It was Stevie Wonder week, so we actually got to view a major STAR on the show! Mr. Wonder's music can make anyone feel like dancing. I was just hoping that the moves would match the music. Please don't make me wish I was blind....uh, sorry Stevie, no pun intended.
DANCING WITH THE STARS: WEEK 5 MIRROR IMAGES
It's week 5 of Dancing With the "Stars" and surprisingly enough, D.L. Hughley is still in it! Do that many black people actually watch the show? This sista is shocked. Because fresh ideas are the basis of this competition (see my eyes...roll'em!) the challenge is for the celebs to dance beside the pros during the routine in mirror fashion. Hasn't Wynnona been through enough! Oh wait, she's off the show? Why the hell am I watching this!
DWTS PREMIERE PART DEUX, MORE LIKE SLEEPWALKING
I'm trying to give this new season a chance, but I need some WOW factors to happen. Maybe they can have this cast dance on a fire pit. I don't know. I'm just throwing some ideas out there. ABC better be lucky RuPaul's Drag Race was a repeat this week. Let the snooze fest begin...
THE VOICE SEASON 4 PREMIERE: USHER, SHAKIRA, &
Monday night is about to turn into fight night with the highly anticipated return of Season 4 of NBC's The Voice with new coaches Usher and Shakira replacing the chairs left by Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera. It's about to face strong competitor Dancing With The Stars and cable favorite RuPaul's Drag Race in primetime's reality competition ring to start the work week off.
DWTS RETURNS FOR ITS SIXTEENTH SEASON
It's the inaugural night of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, so I put on my designer pajamas (t-shirt without holes!) to get fancy for the occasion! A new season brings new changes in the show. Contemporary has now been added as a style of dance, Maks the resident ballroom bad boy is noticeably missing from the line up, and each contestant's personal twitter handler is placed on screen before their dance so you can verbally assault them almost as directly as knocking on their front door.
OZ THE GREAT & POWERFUL, ADVANCE MOVIE REVIEW
Hurry! Hurry! Step right up! The greatest show on Earth is about to begin...well, one of the most expensive shows of 2013 is about to begin. Disney's $200,000,000 big budget film Oz The Great and Powerful is finally here for many fans that have been waiting with baited breath, but does it live up to the hype?
DWTS- LADIES FACE OFF FOR THE FINALE
The fifteenth season has drawn to a close. What better way than to go out with some girl power! We've seen the good, bad, and ugly this season. The three finalists consist of two underdogs and America's sweetheart but this isn't a clear victory. It's anybody's mirror ball trophy!
DWTS IS THANKFUL FOR THE LATE GREAT MJ
The holidays are approaching and what better gift could ABC give us than dances to the music of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Might I say, I appreciate that the band didn't do their own versions of his majesty's hits. Not to take away from the orchestra, but to celebrate the 25th anniversary of such an iconic album, only the original renditions will do.
STAR FOR STRIPES, SAVE THE TIGERS
Press Pass LA always strives to "Get What Matters" to our fans, and there is no more worthy a cause than animal rights! That's why we were thrilled to attend the Stars for Stripes event to help raise awareness and funds to save the last of the wild tigers. The event was hosted by philanthropists actress Katie Cleary and director Alison Eastwood. It benefitted both Peace 4 Animals and Born Free USA and aimed to restore these beautiful cats to be kings of the jungle once more.
