The Grammys have always been known for their star-studded performances just as much as the awards themselves. This year proved no different, with even more live acts than ever before. It seemed as if anyone who received a nomination was up on the stage performing a number from their recent disc. And yet, despite the plethora of musical moments, the 55th annual Grammy Awards appeared to miss that sparkle usually reserved for music’s biggest night.

2013 ARTISTS IN MUSIC AWARDS HONORS EMERGING TALENT AT KEY CLUB, GRAMMYS WEEKEND
It was indeed a glorious night to be attending the 2013 Artists In Music Awards this past Thursday, February 7th. It was an evening where some of music’s biggest underground names came out to support their fellow artists and be honored for their talents. The awards show was established to entertain, recognize and represent emerging artists from all across the world and was the perfect kick-off to a weekend that included The Grammys.
WILL.I.AM AND ALICIA KEYS GRAMMY'S TRANS4M BENEFIT AT AVALON
Last year, The Avalon in Hollywood played host to Mary J. Blige and Belvedere Voka benefitting RED to help raise funds to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. This year, it was the home to will.i.am and Alicia Keys for their 2nd Annual TRANS4M Benefit which included performances by the hosts and special guests Bobby Brown and Ludacris.
