SAN CISCO WRAPS U.S. TOUR AT THE TROUBADOUR: BAND Q & A PLUS REVIEW

“We’ve been on the road for three months now, it’s the longest tour we’ve ever done. We’re excited to go back home to Australia tomorrow, but we couldn’t think of a better place to end our U.S. tour than with you here tonight L.A.” said lead vocalist Jordi Davieson to a room full of fabulous twenty-somethings in funky and fashionable attire. It was the perfect conclusion to San Cisco's tour finishing at the legendary Troubadour.

SAMMY ADAMS PLAYS THE EL REY THEATER: CONCERT REVIEW

Sammy Adams hit the stage at the historic El Rey Theater this past weekend with opening act T. Mills. The native Boston rapper will be touring cities across the U.S. through the end of April wrapping things up at The Metro in my fave city, Chicago!

HAVOK, GOATWHORE, KILL IT WITH DR KNOW, & THE CASUALTIES IN SANTA ANA

Colorado thrash metallers Havok were not on the bill as the headline act for the night, in fact there were three other bands set to play after them making their set time more akin to that of an opening act, but on Wednesday night at the Observatory, Santa Ana, there was no way anyone who didn’t already know otherwise would believe that to be true!

ALKALINE TRIO PERFORMS ATOP HOLLYWOOD TOWER FOR 98.7FM

It got mighty loud atop the historic Hollywood Tower as an intimate group of Rockaholics gathered in the name of Alkaline Trio, presented by 98.7 FM. While the sun sank over the hills, casting a crimson glow on a classic rooftop view, about 50 taco-eating fans rocked out to a few old favorites from albums of yore, and PPLA was front and center for a live sneak preview of some of the best songs from the Trio’s new album, My Shame is True.

VANS WARPED TOUR 2013 KICKS OFF AT CLUB NOKIA

One of the longest running must festivals, Vans Warped Tour, celebrated the kick off of their 19th tour in downtown L.A. at Club Nokia. What a party it was! The night started off with a special press conference in the club’s 2nd floor VIP area. The swanky upstairs space was filled with music enthusiasts, photographers, reporters, and a slew of Warped Tour talent.
