GOATWHORE RINGS IN A BLACK NEW YEAR
Goatwhore played a small but intimate show on an offdate from their tour with High on FIre and Corrosion of Conformity at Los Globos in Silverlake just before the holiday break.Taking the stage well after midnight to a modest but zealous crowd, Goatwhore launched right into their set with 'Collapse in Eternal Worth'.

THE ROLLING STONE- "50 & COUNTING" TOUR
In 1981, the Rolling Stones were gearing up for their highly anticipated tour to back the album Tattoo You. This being the first time the Stones hit the road since the Some Girls tour in ‘78, fans all over the country were foaming at the mouth to see the greatest rock and roll band live on stage. Jagger was quoted as saying, I’d rather be dead than sing ‘Satisfaction’ when I’m 45.” As a 69-year-old Jagger joined his band to culminate their “50 Years and Counting” tour, it’s hard not to smile.
IT WAS RAINING MEN AT THE GRAMMY NOMINATIONS
Nominations for the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards were announced tonight and reflected a mix of the best and brightest in music over the past year, namely men! The nominees were determined by the voting members of The Recording Academy and announced as part of The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!- Countdown To Music's Biggest Night, a one-hour CBS broadcast that took place in Nashville. Among the nominees were Frank Ocean, Kany West, Jay-Z and more!

It’s the week after Thanksgiving, if you’re reading this, then you survived your first interaction with the family and probably stayed as far away from the malls as you could on Black Friday. Christmas is just around the corner and Christmas music is in full swing everywhere. Although the songs are played only for a short time every year the biggest complaint from people who hate Christmas music is that the music hardly ever changes.
EVERCLEAR & EVE 6 ROCK THANKSGIVING WEEKEND
Many people go out to the bars on the day before thanksgiving and get hammered to the point where they can relax on the couch the next day until its time to feast. I, on the other hand, went to see Everclear and Eve 6 at the City National Grove of Anaheim. Its been so long since I've listened to both these bands, but I was extremely excited to see them after all these years.
