TOM CRUISE SAVES THE WORLD FROM OBLIVION, ADVANCE REVIEW

Director Joseph Kosinki’s Oblivion tests the age-old question, “do special effects and visuals counteract the flaws and weaknesses in a story?” How that question is answered is entirely subjective, however, the strength of this film is that it is already a strong story to begin with. The year is 2077, and Earth has been devastated after an interplanetary war- the entire population of the planet, save for Jack Harper, played by Tom Cruise, and Victoria, played by Andrea Riseborough.

DWTS: STEVIE WONDER WEEK & TEAM DANCES

It was Stevie Wonder week, so we actually got to view a major STAR on the show! Mr. Wonder's music can make anyone feel like dancing. I was just hoping that the moves would match the music. Please don't make me wish I was blind....uh, sorry Stevie, no pun intended.

AMERICAN IDOL: TOP 5 ELIMINATION RESULTS

For the first time this season one of the 5 talented girls will be going home. While last year’s girls were really strong, they eventually faltered and Phil Phillips went on to win the American Idol crown. I believe that this year’s girls are the strongest group in American Idol history and for the first time since Season 6 (Jordin Sparks) we will have a female American Idol champion. As they have for most of the season Angie Miller, Candace Glover and Kree Harrison dominated the night.

AMERICAN IDOL: TOP 5 PERFORM- WOMEN TAKE ALL

With five talented girls left, the real American Idol contest starts tonight. While all five remaining girls have a chance to win, in reality it is a three person race between Candace Glover, Kree Harrison, and Angie Miller. The five men that made it to the “Top 10,” were the worst group of “Top 10” contestants in the history of American Idol. Confirming that fact, all five men were eliminated in succession. Tonight, for the second week in a row, each contestant will sing twice and there will be two themes.
